Umgebettet - ZFH Wien IV. Tor, Gruppe 23 1d

Zwischen 1955 und 1968 wurden vom Friedhof Döbling, (Wien, Hartäckerstrasse 19) Grabsteine auf den ZF, Tor 4, umgebettet. Diese Gräber sind in Gruppe 23 zu finden.

Um die Grabbilder zu sehen, ist eine unentgeltliche Registrierung notwendig.

Laut Aussage der Friedhofverwaltung Wien, kann das Recht: „Begraben auf Friedhofsdauer“ aberkannt werden, wenn der Zustand des Grabsteines technisch nicht mehr in Ordnung ist oder das Grab verwaist ist bzw. nicht mehr betreut wird.

Diese umgebetteten Grabsteine sind ohne Fundament, daher sind teilweise die unteren Namen, Gravierungen nicht zu lesen. Beispiel einer gelungenen Neuaufstellung und Renovierung ist das Grab von Adolf Duschnitz



Between 1955 and 1968, a series of gravestones were re-located from the Döbling Cemetery, Vienna (Hartäckerstrasse 19) to the Zentralfriedhof at Gate 4. There, you will find them in Group 23. In the IKG database they are listed in Group 1d but the data is incomplete Query Cemetery-Database

According to cemetery regulations in Vienna, a grave purchased for the lifetime duration
of the cemetery may be removed if the stone is in a bad state of disrepair or the grave is abandoned (no longer tended to).

The gravestones moved to Group 23 in the Zentralfriedhof do not rest on any foundation so the text on the lower part is often illegible. The first example of a successful re-erection and restoration of a grave is that of Adolf Duschnitz
